Get Better Every Day

Team practice sessions will never have enough time to get the individual skills development players need.  To improve skills, players have to work outside of practice.  We have gathered a series of recommendations, links and information to help.   


Running - This program is designed specifically for the particular type of conditioning required for basketball.

Quickness / Explosiveness

Jumprope - Great warm up and extending this out at pace is some of the best cardio work.

Plyometrics - Focus on technique is critical, make sure form is perfect.  Players at every level can improve their jumping ability with these simple drills.


We recommend only body-weight exercise for kids under 15 years.  No one on the Dragons coaching staff is a medical professional and you should consult your physician before starting any workout program.
